Biorational Management of Garlic White Rot

This book provide information to white rot of garlic is one such example which has gained importance due to its wide spread occurrence affecting the crop in almost all the growing regions of the country. At present the most of commercially cultivated cultivar are showing susceptibility to white rot caused by Sclerotium rolfsii and Sclerotium cepivorum etc. but these pathogens are the most prominent pathogen causing bulb infection and later stage of this disease may shows black sclerotia developed in the bulb and it may be rotted and dried. The disease leads to serious yield losses under favorable weather conditions. It is also necessary to find out long term solution using bio control agents that persist in soil and provide long term solution without harming soil and water.
