This work aims to unravel the phenomenon of drug trafficking, relating its development to the current situation. The main focus of analysis is women, since their involvement in the 'world of drug trafficking' is an increasingly common phenomenon. It also seeks to understand the social context in which these women are inserted, how they become involved in drug trafficking, as well as the factors that influence their inclusion in this offence.
