The role of the National Police in the fight against terrorism

For more than a decade, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been living under the threat of terrorism, particularly in its eastern part, caused by the ADF, the M23 and many other armed groups which are in reality terrorist groups. This situation continues to plunge the population of the east into mourning, and is the cause of numerous cases of displacement.The Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Fardc) have been involved in tracking down these outlaws for several years now, through various joint operations, the most recent of which is Operation Sunja (Fardc and Udpf), but the question we are interested in is what about the national police?The fight against terrorism is indeed one of the missions of the National Police, and as part of this work, we have set ourselves the objective of proposing possible solutions in a general sense, and particularly within the framework of the National Police, to enable it to play its role in this merciless fight against terrorism... We therefore propose: the creation of a National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor's Office, the creation of BRAT.
