His research interests include energy relations with focus on Caspian Sea region, connectivity, energy cooperation, and Indian foreign policy. He holds a PhD and MPhil from the Centre for Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a Master's in Political Science from St. Joseph's College, Bangalore. His research papers have appeared in Air Power Journal, and Defence and Diplomacy Journal.
