READy to Sow Fall Poems for a Spring Audience

The poems PhOEbeTRY shares with you here, are as diverse as the things she draws inspiration from: a loved one, art, a dream, a TV show, a conversation, or even a post on social media. "Anything that sparks my interest, jotted down in a few words or sentences, is a poem waiting to happen, really. Often these little 'seeds', as I like to call them, hold a new insight or even an invaluable lesson for me. So, I store them in a safe place until, each in its own time, I take 'em out to grow into a poem." Though written over the course of one month, most of these poems originate from seeds she's collected over the last six years. About the writing and publishing process PhOEbeTRY says: "Writing 21 poems in such a short period of time forced me to focus more on my own process than on other people's methods or opinions about me and my work. I'm a work in process, but I can honestly say it feels so good to let go of the idea of 'perfection', and to just go for it regardless."
