Stars Beneath the Sky

Sixteen-year-old Ayoola is forced to take early responsibility of her brother, Jimi, following the tragic death of their mother. She navigates through life, facing so many hardships and turbulent situations in a country that has been plunged into social and moral decadence, corruption, poverty and economic decline, occasioned by bad governance. There are some other teenagers in the book like Dada and his friends who have become redefined due to the ill happenings surrounding their beloved country. They face so many heart-wrenching hurdles. Will these teenagers survive the hurdles of life at such tender age or will their country's unfavorable situation break them completely and forever? A story that tells how the social decadence and the ill happenings in a country can redefine people and even harden young delicate minds.
