Cyberstalking is an altogether new type of deviant conduct that makes advantage of various forms of technology in order to harass other people in a variety of different ways. Because of our increasing reliance on the Internet, email, instant messaging, chat rooms, and other forms of communication technology, cyberstalking has become a rising societal problem that may impact computer users in any part of the world. This problem can affect computer users in any language. The advent of cutting-edge technologies has brought about a plethora of positive changes in our lives. However, it is not difficult to abuse these technologies in order to terrorise, intimidate, compel, harass, and victimise people who are not paying attention. The rapid development of the internet has led to a surge in online criminal activity; as a result, understanding this phenomenon is essential. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of general knowledge regarding cyberstalking and the dynamics of the phenomenon in Indian region.
