Knitting is Murder

Jessie Henderson is just starting to settle into her new life in Springdale when a murder shocks the town. Jessie had a very public argument with the victim the day before the murder, but luckily she has a cast-iron alibi that puts her beyond suspicion. None of her close friends are suspects, so Jessie has no reason to get involved in the investigation. Or does she? At first it seems clear-cut: the victim was a troublesome character who was at war with half the town.
