Sunshine & Pine Needles: Book One - Updated

We often hear the statement, "The years have been good to me." The years? I must tell you that I would have to say, "God has been good to me. Yes, He has been so very good to me!" As I look back over the years and the multitude of experiences I have been fortunate to enjoy it seems obvious that God's hand has been at work in my life in many ways. The following pages include experiences I have been privileged to enjoy and be part of through life. A few are stories that came from my father or other family members. My prayer is that you might smell the scent of the evergreens, hear the sigh of the wind in the treetops, inhale mountain air so cold it takes your breath away, smell wood smoke from a campfire that stings your eyes, glimpse the wild animals lurking in the shadows and feel the rush of ice cold water splashed against your face as you read through the following pages. There are many stories, as well, that have nothing to do with mountains and the great outdoors, but they also provide glimpses into my past that I pray will provide you with encouragement as you travel along your own journey through life. May you walk it hand in hand with God, our magnificent Creator!
