These relationships are punctuated over time by growing mutual trust and transparency generating insight that enabled their mentor to see something in them that they didn't see in themselves. Or, perhaps, before they saw it emerging in themselves. Compelled to Lead reintroduces and reimagines mentoring as a development tool that holistically shapes the individual and as the apprenticeship model of old, over time and through trust base relationships, models behavior in community that produces a contagious desire in the mentee to do the same for others.
