Tales of a Tomboy: basketball dreams

Ruth is a twelve year old girl looking to fit in. She loves basketball and works hard every day at it. In middle school she stands out to say the least. When she isn't on the court, she is in choir, or woodworking in shop. Ruth knows she is different from a lot of other girls in sixth grade. She wouldn't have it any other way. She loves her life and everything in it. They call her a tomboy, like its bad thing. G.G and Aaron are Ruth's best friends at their middle school. They always have her back on the court or off. Ruth decides to organize a basketball tournament for everyone to participate. Even the school bully Victoria participates in the tournament. It is all about unity in the community. Tomboys come with all kinds of hopes and dreams, like any other girl. Ruth is proud that she is a tomboy and wants every one else to be proud of themselves too. lets here it for all the tomboys in this world.
