BOOK DESCRIPTIONBy its intention, this book is a multi-layered story about various human destinies, illustrating the idea that we are all small dust particles in space, subordinate to nature (Fate, God) and Time. An exciting mixture of reality, mysticism, science, religion, and sociology is entangled in it. The basic idea is simple: Individual Destiny is an expression of the Struggle between Will and Instincts, between the desired and the possible; between the dreamed and the real. The suggested Creed is even simpler: every human being has something that makes him superior to all others. Each human being is a unique God's creature. Therefore, we are all obliged to be tolerant of each other, well-mannered, and grateful to Nature. This is the basis (essence) of Civilization. The book consists of 4 main parts, which correspond to the 4 main stages in the evolution of an individual living being (birth - youth - adulthood - old age); but also of every human society: slavery - feudalism - capitalism - democracy. Since these processes are not only periodic, but also cyclical, we can add another analogy - with the 4 seasons (spring - summer - autumn - winter). The names of the characters are allegorical: EКZI - the name of the human being born and abandoned in the cave (an allegory of loneliness and darkness) means "Exit", but also "Death" (Exitus Letalis). In addition, it can also be understood as "Deliverance", for example, from slavery (Exodus). ZARKO (SVETLOZAR) is an analogue of Zoroaster (Zarathustra). The name is associated with light, illumination, enlightenment, Renaissance. These people bring knowledge and skills that make people's lives easier, more pleasant, and safer. Sometimes, however, science can be maliciously used for anti-human purposes. People with this name are considered teachers, enlighteners, strategists, preachers, clairvoyants, and prophets. But the most comprehensive value is put into the concept of "FATE". This concept is an allegory of Nature with its eternal laws. Nature is not created by man and cannot be changed by him. We, humans, cannot choose either our parents or the place and time of our birth. This is Fate. We can, however, appease it by trying to be tolerant of other creatures; people or animals. The intended addressee was the young, inquisitive audience (adolescents and students from secondary schools and high schools). Since in the last chapters I have inserted quite specialized topics (religion, medicine, social sciences), it can be assumed that the book would arouse interest in much wider age and socio-professional contingents.
