Punk rocker Mona Kerry fails an audition with her band, the Terrible Threes, and even bombs a bartending gig overseen by the local punk rock nemesis, Lurch Menace. But after she and friends, Lilah and Ayeesha start a new band together, she gets a temp job as a paper pusher at United Properties, Inc., supervised by the handsome and charming Rick Bruford, whose dad owns the corporation. When she finds out he's a musician, the two join forces to launch the Temps. Hoping they have a chance at winning in the Battle of the Bands, organized by Lurch, the four musicians polish their style. But Lurch has other plans to stop them. Will the four be able to perform at the competition and support the local youth?
