Questioning Everything

Questioning Everything is my second book. I started writing to work through and heal my trials and tribulations from life and encounters along my spiritual awakening. These poems are reflections and thoughts exploring various situations and perceptions I pondered. We all encounter various situations that make us "Question Everything," including me. I have been on a search for clarity to find out why particular things occurred, and how I could have acted or responded in a different manner. I have always considered myself to be a very open-minded person; however, along this journey, I managed to run myself in circles opening up to include other possibilities from other people's perspectives, as well as my own. Being drawn to certain things on social media, I found so many people experiencing many of the same trials that I was experiencing. Everyone needs to feel understood, seen or heard, and loved. Sharing my thoughts is a way to let others relate and know that they are not alone. They are seen, heard, and loved.Topics I write about include love, forgiveness, fear, deceit, over-thinking, God, nature, things that block us, control, rejection, and loss, to name a few. Sometimes we can gain clarity or heal from things by simply writing things down and reflecting. This allows us to see other people's side, to hold our own strong beliefs, or to find acceptance.
