Better Every Tomorrow

This story is a riveting account of the journey of a young boy, Braxton, who, at the age of six, was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder, CIDP. CIDP is an attack on the nervous system that affected Braxton's ability to walk, run, and play. After months of treatments and hospitalizations Braxton had finally started to regain mobility. He was in school again and starting to feel like his old self. He wanted so badly to play baseball as it was the sport he loved before his diagnosis. With great hesitancy his parents, doctors, and coach decided to allow Braxton to play. Braxton had a great season and his growth was evident after each game. In fact, his team had such a great season that they made it to the championship game. It was the final inning and bases were loaded, Braxton was up to bat. His team's outcome rested in this last hit.
