A literal translation of Shrimadbhagavadgita in Hindi and English, without adding any meanings and interpretations from the author's side. The hindi translation tries to keep a rhythm or meter, which is sacrificed only when not possible without distorting meaning. The English translation is in a prose form. Gita is a book which is considered as God's dictum by Hindus and is sworn upon as a holy text which noone can dare touch and lie. It is message for doing one's own duty/following one's own dharma, while being equipoised, and without bothering for the results. It also talks of body being perishable while there being eternal invisible force behind the universe which remains even after the universe comes to an end. The Gita also contains advice to follow Krishna if not being able to understand the philosophy about the eternal force of Atma beyond all living and non-living and also behind all being and non being. The simple recipe is, since whatever is to happen shall happen as per the nature of things, you should do whatever is ordained by your dharma, without thinking that YOU are doing it and without bothering about the results. If you can't do that, have faith in Krishna and surrender all actions to him. Remember him and fight your battles, with no fear, fever, favour or fervour.
