Abba Father: God our Father makes us whole

Through the work of Jesus Christ and the presence of the Spirit of God in us, we are truly adopted as sons and daughters of God. Therefore, we have the privilege of addressing God as 'Abba' or 'Daddy'. Jesus not only taught about God as our Father; he also taught what it means to be a child of God. Healing and Wholeness is promised to those who call God 'Abba, Father' - those who become like little children and cultivate an intimate and loving relationship with God. 'For my father and my mother leave me; but the Lord welcomes me up.' - Psalm 27:9
