Pond Runs: A Collection of Short Stories is written and illustrated by Upper Elementary students of the Village Montessori School of Bluemont, Virginia. Showcasing the talents and creativity of these young writers and artists, this collection captures the spirit and imagination of our students and community. A large pond sits on our beautiful campus, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and elementary students regularly sprint to and from the water's edge. "Pond runs" help fuel our brains and invigorate our bodies - and capture the essence of these short stories. Village Montessori School of Bluemont is a Montessori community with authentic Montessori classrooms for Primary, Elementary, and Secondary students.
