"Triumph and Survival" depicts the grueling journey the author had to take to find hope and healing. Kay Rose tells us about her experiences assimilating into a dominant culture after being born into a Pennsylvania Dutch speaking Mennonite home and then later on joining a Nationwide Mennonite Church. After leaving the Mennonites and exposing the sexual assault she suffered in this community she spent years trying to escape the darkness of the past and find healing for herself and her young child.
