Why Did I Fall in Love

This is my journal, my life journey from the young child I was embarking on her own path at seventeen. I had to face the world differently, I felt more than I could bottle in. When I was young I was never good with words, so I expressed myself in writing. I would crumple up letters, and chuck them at my parents while passing the time in the time-out corner. When I started this prolonged project it was but an internal diary of poems I wrote while in a very low state of mind. As I got older, I started to have more experiences the major role player was that of passionate love. I would ultimately write love letters to these individuals, it became I habit to which became the ultimate project of physically seeing the growth in not just abusive exes, to finally being in a state of love, and then choosing to chose myself at the end of it. So, after six years of letters I finally found my strength to love not these concurrent individuals who I did some damage or growth. Took one last boyfriend to help me figure out that its time to close the chapter on being dependent, and figure my independency. By loving myself, and you can see the power of putting it on paper. And, I asked myself why not just have others read it too? Read, and grow with me.
