This is the story of government agent David Walker who investigates crimes for the Department of Justice. He is a man of his word and he always follows through. And then unexpectedly a challenge is brought to the foreground that he normally would never do. And it will start his life over again. He investigates crimes that are not for a regular police department. They are crimes in the shadows, like hate crimes. Most police departments are not equipped to investigate these crimes. Even the FBI doesn't like to work on them. But when I am lucky enough to solve one of them, they are quick to move in and take credit for it. With most crimes you look at the people that do those kinds of crime. A hate crime can come from a person who has no other motive. Without a motive it is hard to connect a person to the crime. A lot of what I do is done by gut feeling and hunches. Very few people are willing to operate blind and in the dark. I find it interesting.
