It includes the peaks and the dips of personal experiences from Magno's life, from his childhood in the ancient land of the Aurunci, Italy to the joyful and painful experiences of immigration in the United States.Antonio (Tony) Magno is an Italian immigrant who arrived in the United States on June 9, 1961 at the age of 16. He started high school at night in 1961 while working in various departments at a local supermarket. He later joined the Connecticut National Guard from where he earned an honorable medical discharge. Magno attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 1968 and was also a Letter Carrier for a number of years.Since 1971, he has been broadcasting on a number of radio stations, bringing the Italian language and culture to the people of Connecticut and Massachusetts. He celebrated 50 years of radio broadcasting on February 14th, 2021.
