Grandma looked at me and said, "Baby, I'm not the best, I'm not the worst, but I'm somebody."It was the straw to break the camels back; tragedy. My final hour, and my first. The undoing of all my walls in order to face myself. It was, repentance and laments, and continues to be this push and pull between spirituality and religion, It is filled with anger, love, and all the emotions. Sometimes it just was, and there was no understanding to it, but I honored the moments incase they made sense to someone else, or to me later. It continues to be recursive, and never ending. I have to believe it was all for a reason. My hope is that in sharing maybe just maybe, one person could find comfort and relate to the words.Or in short, here is 213 poetic looks into the window of my soul, and into the heart on my sleeve.
