The territory has its own Supreme Court and High Court, and is connected to the Pakistani government through the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan. and the administration of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, despite the fact that the independent region is not represented in Pakistan's Parliament.
