Synopsis: A daring former Air Force pilot gets bored with shuttling bigwigs around the world. His last flight in a corporate jet becomes a nightmare when the plane's systems begin to shut down. Flying blind with no instruments or communications equipment, he and his co-pilot find an unused airport for landing, hoping they do not run out of fuel. Minutes before they touch down, their engines stop, and a dead stick landing saves passengers, crew and the aeroplane. A new, specially built one-of-a-kind aircraft is going to release a rocket, called Pegasus, which speeds beyond the atmosphere to launch microsatellites into orbit. The co-pilot, with all the right qualifications, has joined the crew and has a mysterious plan for the Pegasus rocket.
