Kiya and Her Children is based on the Greek myths of Titans and Olympians.Chief Vanam banishes his mate, Kiya, and their children from his tribe of hunter-gatherers to become outcasts who cannot be looked upon-'Titans.' They are expected to die lonely, miserable deaths. Kiya, however, has other plans.
