Felix was working in Mamaia as a guide for English tourists on the Romanian coast of the Black Sea. Once, he had a group of Finnish tourists to the Prahova Valley Tour, and there he met Merja. She had just divorced and was feeling vulnerable. Grateful to Felix for being kind to her, she quit her job and moved to Mamaia to work and to marry Felix.
