A Teen's Coaching Tool Towards Embracing Equity and Diversity

This workbook was designed to facilitate student led transformative conversations. In a non-traditional teaching environment students will have opportunities to explore life changing self-awareness through collaboration with their peers and adult leaders on the topics of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The case studies were designed with fictional characters around real world situations. "A Teen's Coaching Tool Towards Embracing Equity & Diversity" was birthed out of the racial unrest experienced in the year of 2020 during a world pandemic. In many ways, efforts have been made to deal with the inequities many have experienced in life but we are of the opinion that there is still much to do in the areas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The events of 2020 reiterated the need and desire for humanity to come to the table and engage in much needed authentic conversation so we can bridge the gap through powerful dialogue. We hope you enjoy these conversations as much as we did when putting this body of work together.
