This is book is about the main character named G has been blessed to be a blessing. It's a story of hope. It all started with Savannah a single parent with a preteen son going to the 8th grade and her younger daughter Tamala. Struggling to take care of her children and not lose them to the streets she decides to take her sister up on going to North Carolina to live where she can work at her sister's job. Living in the inner city with a son that will be a teenager and trying to keep him focus on studying and going to school it's no small feat. The up hill battle is real. So having a teacher that cares and goes the extra mile to stay after school to help Cedric with math and other subjects is a blessing and he is a black man too! Savannah's cup is over flowing. She knows that she can't afford to hire a tutor for her son Cedric. His teacher Mr. G., his students and faculty calls him brings in snacks to make sure his students have something to eat so they can stay focused while he teaches them.
