Killing Colombia

The government of Colombia has been fighting the FARC, the largest terrorist group in the western hemisphere, for fifty years. The bloody conflict has reached a stalemate in 1980, and the President of Colombia proposes a truce with the FARC. Efforts to reach a truce suddenly vanish right before the Presidential election. The leader of the FARC, Jacobo Arenas, leader of the largest terrorist group in the western hemisphere, finally opens discussions for a truce, but suddenly, all communications with Arenas stop unexpectedly, just ten days before the election. A truce with the FARC, who is producing illegal narcotics to fund their cause, would secure the reelection of the President of Colombia and enable the government to discuss a peace treaty with the FARC to put an end to the massive flow of narcotics out of the Amazon region to the United States. The incumbent President is in a deadlock with a candidate supported by Pablo Escobar, who is pouring millions into the election to steal the presidency and pave the way for complete control of the Colombian government. If a truce with the FARC is achieved before the election, he can seal his victory and continue with peace talks with the narcoterrorists that are destroying the heart and soul of the country. With the presidential election hanging in the balance of this pivotal truce, the leader of the FARC suddenly stops all communications with the President of Colombia. His whereabouts in the Amazon Jungle unknown, the leader of the FARC must be found to announce a truce with the government before the presidency falls into the hands of Pablo Escobar. The Colombians reach out for help from the President of the United States, who sends a Black Ops team to the Amazon jungle to find the leader of the FARC to secure a truce and get peace talks back on track. Their mission - find Arenas and secure an agreement or kill him and replace him.
