Tulip

Central Asia, the 1880's. A seemingly chance encounter brings a botanist to a hidden valley. When he leaves the valley, he thinks he's only added a bundle of the rarest of tulip bulbs to his pack, but he soon discovers he's traveling with a mated pair of Himalayan vultures. What he can't know is a long-simmering curse has hitched a ride in the bundle as well. Soon after returning to his homeland of Holland, the botanist discovers the precious bundle has gone missing. Convinced that a poor, crippled dock worker has stolen the valuable bundle, he goes in pursuit of the man, never once realizing the true danger in his quest might be the man's wife and daughter and a curse.
