Intention of book: This book is grounded upon the importance of self-acceptance and about not trying to be like everybody else. The moral of the story is that beauty is from the inside not out. Synopsis: The story follows a monkey who feels like he doesn't fit in. He believes that if he looks like other characters/objects he will be beautiful.As the story progresses, he bumps into different characters and asks them how he can look like them. They all go on to explain that although they look beautiful things change and they don't always look necessarily as beautiful as he believes. At the end of the story the monkey realises that beauty actually comes from within.
