Teancum: An Illustrated Screenplay

It's 74BC in the Americas, the people who call themselves Nephites have established a government based on elected judges. Nephite dissenters seeking to overthrow the fledgling democracy have been defeated in bitter wars and have now defected to the Nephite's belligerent rivals, the great Lamanite nation. In the 18th year of the reign of the Judges these dissenters, known as Amlicites and Zoramites, have inspired and emboldened the people of the Lamanites to gather a great army and with vastly superior numbers seek to destroy and subjugate the Nephite people. In the defending army is a young man with his own private war to wage, with a determination to bring a measure of justice to the Amlicites who deprived him of his childhood. The turn of events that follow would mark a chain of escalating conflicts that would initiate war on an unprecedented scale. The record of which would become known as 'the war chapters of Alma, ' in which this young man would become a key player.
