Dennis is a dreamer. His dad, Jiggs, died in 1973, when Dennis was a young man. For forty years, he's indulged a fantasy: Imagining seeing his father again. Imagining Jiggs answering questions, offering wisdom. Imagining telling Jiggs of his achievements. Introducing him to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.This is what dreamers do. They take that mental trip to a make-believe place of joy and wonder. Going to a world they know isn't real but one that leaves them with a smile, with hope, and with comfort.Dennis went there often.
