Our story begins with Nicolas, a sickly boy long confined to a bleak hospital room, staring at the four walls of the unadorned pale abyss he now calls home. Unable to partake in the real world, Nicolas lives vicariously through his eclectic friends, and his own fantasy world, a clear byproduct of his overactive imagination.
