An event ends the training and he is forced to return to California for a family emergency. When that situation resolves, he returns to Cincinnati and completes his field training becoming a full-fledged Cincinnati cop.He experiences the pitfalls of a career in law enforcement, ultimately being charged with s Federal Crime in a deadly confrontation with a suspect. During the period of his suspension, he attends law school and marries a police officer who he attended the police academy with.The ending of the work is explosive with a major unexpected twist.
