Relationships: Ricocheting Toward Infinity

These poems date from the spring of 1972 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to 1985 in Hunt County, Texas. Their forms vary from free verse to a rhymed iambic pentameter. If there is a central thread which prevails throughout these selections, it is, perhaps, man's relation with time and children's relationships with adults. Grimshaw wrote the bulk of this introductory material in 1986 for a poetry reading at Grayson County College in Denison, Texas. It has been modified for its appearance as an introduction for this volume.
