Ivy sees 7 Seconds of her future - and the Guild is coming for her. To everyone else, it appears as if IVY LEIF suffers from random 7 second petit-mal seizures. But what really happens is that her consciousness drifts into her future for that 7 seconds. While 7 seconds is time enough to wrap a car around a tree, it's not nearly long enough to gather enough information to make any life-altering decisions. Everything changes, though, when Ivy learns that the mysterious blue-eyed boy, who has haunted her drifts from her childhood, can travel to her drifts in his past and bring her messages from herself in her future-if she trusts this boy that she's never met in the flesh, that is. Her drifts turn ominous when she begins meddling with the future and alerts the Guild to her existence. The Guild and its competitor, the Cult, are mega-corporations that kidnap children with neurological anomalies, like Ivy's, and exploit them brutally for huge profits and power. With the help of the blue-eyed boy, Ivy risks her life and freedom to stop the exploitation and liberate the other children from an experimental research facility.
