Biedermeier: His Identity, Both Mistaken And True

Otto Biedermeier, a Hollywood icon and B-movie legend is murdered, apparently by his wife, the very questionable Mysterious Circumstances, who is a former circus performer with a specialty of magic tricks on the high wire that made her briefly famous before capturing the heart of the filmmaker. Tom Lenz, a film historian and the director's biographer, wanting to update a 20 year-old monograph as well as to pay his respects, begins to investigate the director's death after meeting again with Ms. Circumstances and being convinced of her innocence.
