Captain Iron Mustache: A Novel

Nearly half-a-century later, J.W. and his wife return to Viet Nam in a surreal effort to find the chief, after whom J.W. has named his first child. He also wants to see Miss Lin, but the Vietnamese government is suspicious of his motives, and the days of his sojourn are fraught with struggle and frustration until a simple act of kindness changes his life.
