Overview

Whilst on holiday in Morocco, Noura witnesses the body of a sea creature transform into a human boy. This proof of magic changes her life forever. From then on a new world of light travel is revealed to her. Guided by her mysterious friends Jasmin and Jafri, Noura learns how to use different kinds of light to transport herself in time and place. At the same time, she is making a real journey across the Sahara desert in the company of a Bedouin boy called Hisham and his grumpy camel Tedus. Noura learns that time shifts like grains of sand and that the more she travels in light, the more amazing things she discovers about her planet. Throughout her adventures Noura's thoughts keep returning to Luke, the boy who revealed this new world of light to her. Will they ever meet again?
