Midnight Legacy

Nita lives at Ambala military base while Rikh is in Burma. She has an affair, leaves Rikh and goes to Lahore. She discovers she's pregnant when WW2 ends and communal violence is spreading all over India. After meeting up again with her Indian Prince, Nita finally moves north.
