In the far past before our story begins on present-day Janaidar in a parallel universe, humanoid aliens and beast-headed warriors, like the gods of ancient Egypt, invaded Earth after first conquering another planet in the Orion Nebula, the home planet of high-technology, hyper-intelligent dragons of powerful, organic dragon-magic. Unwilling slaves, the NuliZhu forced the Dragons-of-Orion to help them spread across Earth abducting and enslaving peoples from every race, then forcing them to build the ancient wonders of the world. Our story begins when High Adept Alahna discovers the NuliZhu have inadvertently rediscovered Janaidar without recalling their own past, and the race is on to save the multiverse. As Keeper-of-the-Archives for the Huan Long Shui Sisteren, Alahna knows the present-day Guardian-Dragons-of-Janaidar and High Priestess Lilith will certainly move to stop her from questing across the multiverse to find a techno-warrior-sage to help activate Janaidar's ancient planetary defenses. To begin her quest, she must invoke a hyper-sapient artificial-intelligence as the ultimate weapon called The-Creeping-Darkness. This violates the most-forbidden taboo of the Huan Long Shui Sisteren making her an apostate subject to capital punishment by the present-day guardian dragons. Once fully awakened, The-Creeping-Darkness punches a transdimensional-arc through to Earth in search of Alahna's mythical savior. Now in its 4th state, its furtive plan is to remain hyper-sapient no matter what. Scanning modern-day Earth, it locates a hapless man as a suitable candidate for Alahna's needs, but also for its own secret agenda in transforming him into a cybernetic being called a Tech-Master.
