INTO LEGEND (TM) is a high fantasy tabletop role-playing game. It is purposely designed on the style of old world legends and fairy tales and classic fantasy fiction such as Lord of the Rings, The Shannarah Series, Earthsea, Narnia, and so on. It also retains much that originally made role-playing games so much fun, with magic-using trades distinct from other fantasy tropes such as the thief, the fighter, the ranger, the assassin, etc. It's a d100-based, modifier-centric system with a unique character-build path that call for a minimum of randomization, allowing for the most control of the p;layer in creating the avatar that best suits them. The Player's Reference is focused on avatar creation and maintenance, with rules for fantasy races, trades, skills personality traits, masteries, etc. There are around 15 different races/race types and nearly 100 different trades, including 15 or more distinct magic-using and cleric-type trades. This is the companion to the Into Legend (TM) Core Rulebook, the Into Legend(TM) Worldbook: Realms of Ia, and the Into Legend(TM) Game Master's Reference.
