Receiving My Healing

Marla Madderra fell in love with the railroad while working with light rail transit, but her health soon threatened her career. She always seemed to be fatigued and in pain. Eventually, she had no choice but to go on disability. Diagnosed with fibromyalgia and Raynaud's syndrome, Marla was on multiple medications-too many, according to one doctor and hurt constantly. She prayed for healing, but was not healed. Challenged to examine her faith, Marla learned to change her belief system. She focused more on God and placing herself wholly in his hands.
