This is a world none of us will live to see. Hundreds of thousands of years from our time, the children of long-forgotten humankind inherit the world in profuse diversity. Living alongside one another are two such races: dayfolk and nightfolk. They defend each other, trade with one another, and by ancient law, never are to meet.
