Politics have developed into a frantic media circus with very little of substance being shared, as real debates of things that mattered just made politicians being deemed boring and thus lost their elections.The European Union, have broken up in three separate unions plus Britain. America have turned into a state ruled by the NSA, with massive surveillance of the people and a complete outcast on the global scene. Russia has successfully resurrected the central planning system, supported by Artificial Intelligence. A racial driven civil war have been fought in South Africa, economic growth have stopped partly due to the collapse of the demographic pyramid and biotailoring have enabled people to turn Giraffes into small pets. The Chinese social credit system has furthermore started to run completely amok and the disruption of human evolutionary drivers across the globe have finally started to reveal itself. But most importantly though, advanced AI system is just on the verge of becoming self conscious and hence about to become very dangerous for their temporary Human overlords without their knowledge. The world is thus at an inflection point, where the future of humanity hangs in the balance with neither companies nor nations able to steer the planet in any direction, and no-one in charge during Earth's pivotal development phase. As it turns out though, Brian actions of going to work this day will prove to be consequential for the future of humanity, as this will be the defining day for humanity's survival!
