In a far away universe, Artwurl once the most colorful place in all of existence is now a world without hue or flare, where color is considered evil. The Hurr and Madd Chronicles I is the beginning of an epic story that follows the journey of Hurriah, a young woman and Walter, a young man from two different dimensions who fall into a new world void of color. Once they fall into the strange land, they can't recall how they got there, they only remember where they were moments before they arrived.Artwurl is led by a vicious monarch, Queen Ayva and King Ambrose who demands harsh consequences on anyone found in color. The only beings of color in Artwurl are forbidden creatures found in the North Woods, which is a designated spot for colorful beings. Never has any of the abominations been able to escape the North Woods, an area off limits to any Artwurlian. That is, until Hurriah and Walter arrive.
