Karen Mack Barber is a graduate of South Carolina State University and Gardner-Webb University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in School Counseling, and an add-on licensure in School Administration. Mrs. Barber has a son named Christian, who is the main character in her picture books. Mrs. Barber is a former teacher, who loves the art of storytelling, and she enjoys seeing children excited about the love of reading.
