As a follow-up to my collection of Voltaire's criticism of atheism ('In God's Defense: Writings on Atheism'), this book presents Voltaire's positive views on God and man. As the title indicates, he was very cautious in what he said of God, and kept to the results of strict deductive arguments. Yet, he was occasionally willing to pray to this God about whom his reason told him so little.
